Connection & Acceptance

I believe healing is most powerful when we are seen and accepted by another person. I approach sessions with genuine compassion and non-judgment. I trust your knowledge of your own life and what you need. Through this kind of connection, you can begin to extend that same kindness and trust to yourself.

Making Sense Together

Together, we'll work to understand your experiences and responses, recognizing that you've been doing the best you can with what you've had available to you. Your symptoms and behaviors represent your mind's attempts to manage difficult situations, and there's wisdom in those adaptive responses. We'll explore these patterns, as well as new patterns that better serve you.

Body-Mind Integration

Transformative change involves more than just talking about your experiences—it requires feeling and processing them in your body as well. I use approaches that help you reconnect with your emotions and physical sensations, allowing your nervous system to fully process and release what it's been holding.

Modalities I Utilize:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) helps resolve traumatic memories and emotional triggers while also promoting the development and integration of new, more adaptive beliefs and behaviors.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic approach which focuses on helping people understand and heal the different parts of their inner world to reduce conflict, build self-compassion, and improve their relationships with others.

  • Psychodynamic therapy is an in-depth form of talk therapy that explores how past experiences and unconscious patterns influence current thoughts and behaviors, using the therapeutic relationship itself as a tool for insight and healing.

Therapy Services

Individual Therapy

We’ll start each session by checking in with how you’re doing, then focus on whatever feels most important to you that day. This might look like exploring your inner world with compassion and care, learning new coping skills, or processing past trauma. I typically meet with individuals for 45 minutes once per week, however extended sessions are available.

Couple’s Therapy

In couples therapy, we'll focus on the emotional bonds within the relationship. This means exploring how past wounds impact your attachment and finding healthier ways to connect and communicate. I typically meet with couples for one hour each week.

Session Fees

My current rates are $190 per 45 minute individual session, and $275 per 60 minute couples session. At this time I am not paneled with any insurance providers, however I can provide a “superbill” for individuals who wish to seek reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits. Additionally, I have a limited number of reduced-fee slots — please reach out directly to inquire.
